Guest Mix – Adam Rynhart

Friday is once again upon us, and as we all start to stretch and flex those disco muscles in time to hit the dancefloors in June, we provide a little inspiration courtesy of this week’s Guest Mix by Adam Rynhart!

Good music is no stranger to Adam Rynhart.

Since childhood, the influence of his dad’s music collection has set him in good stead to appreciate and explore all genres. The soundtrack to his younger years included the compositions of Bob Marley, Johnny Cash, The Dubliners and The Beatles.

However, as we all know, House Music hit us all like a thunder-force and changed the game forever.

Adam wasn’t expecting the impact that the House Music scene would have on him as a music lover. Keen to get involved, he started DJ’ing at events across the North West of England.

Opportunities to enjoy some time playing out soon grew exponentially, with Adam welcoming the chance playing at vocal house nights for the classic Hed Kandi franchise, alongside the well-known Pukka Up, and the legendary Miss Moneypenny’s.

Nights like these put Adam Rynhart’s name firmly on the map, not only showcasing his DJ skills, but opening up his talent for mixing and creating different sounds – inviting him into the arena of music production.

One of Adam’s most well known production collabs was with Jorge Jamarillo (Who Da Funk). Together, they released several tracks on the Lectro Chik Records label and remixed for Pacha Recordings.

After taking a few years out to start a family, Adam is now back, and stronger than ever in the music scene.

Southport’s Audio Book can be credited as being one of the most niche and intimate events for music connoisseurs in the North West, selling out their parties in a small antique family bookshop, featuring headliners like The Patchouli Brothers, Get Down Edits, Natasha Kitty Katt and Rahaan.

Adam Rynhart has been a fine addition to the roster of Audiobook residents – who as a team, their tastes are not only eclectic, but often game-changing and innovative.

Adam will be playing as part of Audio Book’s Digital Edition Live Stream on Sunday 11th April, from 1pm UK time.

Adam certainly has been busy – now also working as part of the coveted Quantize Recordings team, led by House Music Legend DJ Spen, he now hosts his own show on D3EP Radio Network as well as joining a whole tribe of other House legends over on Real House Radio.

The art of remixing is obviously a passion of Adam’s – recently collaborating with Kenny Jaeger, to release a huge track on Quantize Recordings – a remix of DJ Spen’s gorgeous track featuring Fonda Rae on vocals – I Don’t Want Nobody is out now, and scaling the heights of the Traxsource charts.

There are exciting things in the pipeline for Adam in 2021, one being the inaugural Southport Disco Festival, taking place on 24th July.

We can’t wait to see what else Mr Rynhart has planned for the rest of the year, and we are delighted to present to you his Guest Mix for Glitterballs!

A soulful infusion of some of the finest Quantize sounds, this one is a sure must to your weekend, and soon-to-be dancefloor warm-up! ENJOY!!

Much Love From,

Glitterballs and Adam Rynhart
